Sinopsis
En la época feudal japonesa, el período Edo instauró una delicada paz que se consiguió con violencia y sangre. Jubei Kibagami es un ninja a sueldo que vaga por los caminos en busca de la poderosa Piedra del Dragón protegida por el clan Hiruko, condenado a vivir y morir en la oscuridad. Jubei tendrá que luchar contra el clan Kimon, inclinado a revivir el poder de Toyotomi, que desea conseguir por todos los medios la Piedra del Dragón, Jubei Kigabami es el mejor hombre tanto para proteger la Piedra de Dragón como para utilizarla. Shigure has a unlikely friend by her side named Rokai who is a Hiruko Ninja. Shigure gets captured by the Kimon Shu and Rokai is unable to protect her.

Jubei has to save Shigure, so he takes a ship to a different area of Japan. While traveling, he meets Yagyu Reyna, a samurai who is cold blooded and wants the Dragon Stone and also, Shigure. But there is also a killer on the ship as well.

Jubei's commitment to save Shigure pays off when he, Dakuan, and Tsubute execute a successful rescue mission. But something is wrong, and Shigure is acting strangely. The outcome of war may depend on Jubei finding out why.
